ABOUT THIS EVENT
*** Following our Growing with Nature program, each month we gather to connect, play and awaken to the magic of Mother Earth.
The theme for June is Shining our inner light. With the winter solstice approaching, this is a time to seek warmth and light, within and around us. In honour of World Environment Day on June 5th our usual playgroup will be replaced by a community beach clean up. Get in touch for more details. ***
Join us for our nature playgroup in the beautiful and tranquil settings of the Noosa Botanic Gardens, on Gubbi Gubbi country. Our nature play programs are specifically designed for children 0 to 6 yrs offering a range of nature-based activities, sensory play, storytelling, songs and a bush walk exploring. The sessions are slow paced and relaxed, allowing us to deeply connect with nature and one another in a loving and supportive environment. And every second week, we incorporate movement and storytelling as part of our circle time, with a simple and fun yoga routine for our children (parents of course are welcome to join, BYO mat!)
All Big Scrub Nature Play programs are facilitated by fully qualified and experienced nature play educators and forest school mentors.
For children 0 – 6 years accompanied by a parent/carer. Older siblings always welcome!
Can't commit to weekly play? You can still book a casual session.
